Consent to electronic records and communications

Before you submit a loan request through loanplansonline.com, Loan Plans Online and the lenders and partners that receive your request need your consent to provide documents and communications to you electronically. Please read this notice and keep a copy for your records.

1. What this consent covers

You agree that we, and participating lenders and their partners, may provide the following electronically: disclosures, notices, agreements, privacy policies, loan documents, account statements and other communications related to your request or any resulting loan. You also agree that your electronic signature, including clicking a button or checking a box, has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.

2. How we deliver electronic records

Electronic records may be shown on the website, sent to the email address you provided, or delivered by text message containing a link. You agree to keep your email address and phone number current.

3. Hardware and software requirements

• A device with internet access (computer, tablet or smartphone).
• A current version of a modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox).
• A valid email account and software that can open PDF files.
• Enough storage space to save documents, or a printer to print them.

4. Paper copies

You may request a paper copy of any record we provided to you electronically by emailing support@loanplansonline.com. We do not charge for paper copies. For loan documents, contact the lender directly.

5. Withdrawing your consent

You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing support@loanplansonline.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect records already provided electronically. Because our service works only online, withdrawing consent before you submit a request means we cannot process it. To withdraw consent given to a lender, contact that lender directly.

6. Updating your contact information

To update the email address or phone number we use for electronic communications, email support@loanplansonline.com.
